Review of A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman

I protested for a long time to let Uwe into my heart and only after more than half of the book it thawed. Probably, it happened, right away, as Uwe stopped trying to settle accounts with life. Uwe is a man-deed, who without any superfluous words will do everything as is necessary and right. For strangers, he seems just a grumpy old man, but his family knows that this is the kindest person who will not refuse anyone help. Approximately, after chapter 37, I had to constantly rub the corners of my eyes from the accumulated tears. It is unfortunate that Uwe spent a short time with his new friends when he had a "second" life, but he acquired a lot and gave it to others. It's sad, but a warm story, with light notes of humor and deep meaning.
